Well, I decided no pics for this post (obviously). Yesterday we were told by her day school that Ava was using the potty like the big kids. So to reinforce this, yesterday we went to BabysRUs and let her pick out her potty. I put a couple of different colors on the floor. She immediately sat down on the hot pink one and said, "poo-poo". So I assume that's the one she wanted. We also picked up a big girl toothbrush!
After dinner, she said "Poo Poo!" and we went walked to the potty and I put her on it. She was unsure and wanted to get off of it but I encouraged her to stay the course! Then she went! I am so proud of and excited for her! Later she also let me brush her teeth with the big girl brush and spit the toothpaste into the sink. Very proud of her!
Holy moly. What a HUGE advantage to day care!!!! Wow. Park is telling us when he's going poo poo, so I guess we might get there some day! GO AVA!!!!! Wow. Impressive. And spitting out the toothpaste?! SHEESH! Go cousin AVA!!!! love, auntie ann
